What’s the Difference Between a Civil War and a ‘Religious’ One?
‘Genocide of Hindus’: Bangladeshi Islamists attack minority population [1]
So what’s the difference between a civil war and a ‘religious’ one — even if the ‘religious’ aspect is all on one side? Shouts of Allahu Akbar might be one indication. As in 1971, Hindus are being slaughtered en masse in Bangladesh as are any Muslims who get in the way. The Islamic invasion of India began centuries ago — and the jihad against Hindus continues to this day [2][3].
And what does booty have to do with it? The two go hand in hand throughout Islamic doctrine — an entire chapter of the Koran is called ‘The Spoils of War’. Booty refers not just to material spoils and lands but to human spoils as well — on a daily basis Hindu and Christian girls and young women are kidnapped and forced to convert, becoming breeders for Islam rather than any other. This is sometimes referred to as ‘Love Jihad’ and can happen anywhere [4–8].
Why does it always seem to turn out this way in spite of the protests of those who have no wish to participate in kidnappings and slaughter? The foundational doctrine of Islam gives the moral high ground to those who participate in jihad — financially or otherwise. To kill and be killed in the ’cause of Allah’ is one form of jihad but there are others.
Koran 9:111 “Allah has indeed purchased from the believers their lives and wealth in exchange for Paradise. They fight in the cause of Allah and kill or are killed…”
Koran Chapter 8:1 The Spoils of War — They ask you (O Muhammad) about the spoils of war. Say: “The spoils are for Allah and the Messenger.” So fear Allah and adjust all matters of difference among you, and obey Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), if you are believers.
And the Koran declares there is no blame on those who kill because really, it is Allah who does this:
Koran 8:17 “And you did not kill them, but it was Allah who killed them. And you threw not, [O Muhammad], when you threw, but it was Allah who threw that He might test the believers with a good test. Indeed, Allah is Hearing and Knowing.”
The perpetrators thus have no reason to feel guilt — for the unbelievers are the ‘worst of creatures’ (K 98.6) — less than cattle (K 7:179).
The example of Mohammed is that of a preacher turned politician and jihadi who personally took part in 27 of between 65 and 95 military expeditions during the last 9 years of his life [9][10].
More than half of the Koran is about the ‘unbeliever’ — and verses against them are too numerous to list [11]. We should not be surprised at the result, but it is wise to know what it says [12].
